• We are currently open for PhD and postdoc applications related to Quantum Simulation of quantum materials and high-energy physics, as well as Quantum Optimization algorithms development.**

• We are also actively seeking collaborative research projects at postdoctoral level in scope of the SQUASH initiative, spanning quantum algorithms, simulation, and hardware-software co-design to advance scalable quantum technologies.

Chips CC training opportunities

In scope of the Chips competence centre, Rok Žitko is offering training on the following two topics:

• Pripravnik_ca se bo usposobil_a za osnovno uporabo orodij za razvoj in verifikacijo digitalnih vezij v jeziku SystemVerilog. Uporabil_a jih bo za nadaljnji razvoj krmilnega sistema PulsePins. Možen projekt je prenos rešitve z FPGA platforme Cyclone V na novejšo Agilex 5 (razvojna ploščica Terrasic DE25 Nano).

• Pripravnik_ca se bo usposobil_a za osnovno uporabo orodij za razvoj in verifikacijo digitalnih vezij v jeziku SystemVerilog. Uporabil_a jih bo za razvoj rešitev za prenos podatkov pri visokih hitrostih na platformi RFSOC (razvojna ploščica Real Digital RFSOC 4x2) za generatorje naključnih števil na temelju vakuumskih fluktuacij in ekstrakcijo entropije v realnem času s Toeplitzevo metodo.
